Alice Cooke is a Cornish artist working with photography and moving image across personal and commercial work. Alice’s work is largely focused in the Cornish landscape: female bodies move disjointedly through various scenes, performing with the landscape, ‘body’ becoming synonymous for both human and land. The notion of belonging is deeply rooted in the work, analysing the significance of a lack of belonging within one’s body, juxtaposed with a strong sense of belonging to a landscape.

Alice graduated from the London College of Communication in 2017 and is currently working and exhibiting between London and Cornwall.
